Troubleshooting: Connecting with Okapi (once you have Added it as a Device)

You were able to Add Okapi as a Device, but are having trouble Connecting using the Okapi Viewer App?

  1. Just click connect, again. It can sometimes just take a second or third try. (-Computer was busy during previous attempts.)
  2. Close the Okapi Viewer App, "Remove Device" (the ABBTM) from the control panel. Also, disconnect and reconnect the Okapi from its power source (basically like restarting the Okapi). Then re-add Okapi as a device again. Open the Okapi Viewer App again, type in the com port # into the box in the App, (yes, look again, it may be with a different comp port number when you remove and add a device, again), and click connect.
  3. Do the previous step, but also restart your computer.
